The Geminid meteor shower runs from November 19 to December 24, with the peak expected on December 13 and 14. This year, the peak coincides with a 90% illuminated Waxing Gibbous moon, which could reduce visibility compared to the 2023 event, which occurred during the new moon. On a clear, moonless night, up to 150 meteors per hour can be seen (American Meteor Society).
Despite this, I’m organizing the last outings of the year to witness this beautiful display—don’t miss it!

Your guide
Hi, I'm Samer from Zenderfull. I'm a self-taught photographer specializing in capturing celestial landscapes. I combine my passion for astronomy and the outdoors with my expertise in photography to create unforgettable guided outings under starry skies.
I'm Lebanese-Canadian, and since arriving in Montreal in 2016, I've been scouring Quebec for the most auspicious locations to bring you along with me to capture dazzling images of the starry sky including the Milky Way and the Northern Lights.
Zenderfull is a compound word that means Zen & Wonderful, and it's the feeling I get when I'm outside observing the magic of the stars.

Aurora hunting requires a lot of research to find a place where the aurora is visible and the weather is clear. This is why the address is only communicated by e-mail. Please do not share this address with anyone, as my aim is to provide you with an unforgettable experience, which is why there are only a few places available for this trip.
