Since the first edition of Jour de la Nuit in 2008, several hundred events have been organized every year throughout France on the theme of light pollution, the night and its ecosystems. The important thing is to raise our eyes to the sky and re-enchant the Night!
This year, Quebec and Zenderfull are taking part!
Open to all, the “Jour de la Nuit” is a great opportunity to raise awareness of light pollution, the protection of nocturnal biodiversity and the beauty of the starry sky, which has been taking place for many years in France.
Less than a month separates us from the brilliant spectacle that comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS) is expected to offer in the northern hemisphere. Discovered in early 2023, it has been dubbed the **potential “comet of the century”, and very soon we'll find out if that's really the case. Find out more here.

Your guide
Hi, I'm Samer from Zenderfull. I'm a self-taught photographer specializing in capturing celestial landscapes. I combine my passion for astronomy and the outdoors with my expertise in photography to create unforgettable guided outings under starry skies.
I'm Lebanese-Canadian, and since arriving in Montreal in 2016, I've been scouring Quebec for the most auspicious locations to bring you along with me to capture dazzling images of the starry sky including the Milky Way and the Northern Lights.
Zenderfull is a compound word that means Zen & Wonderful, and it's the feeling I get when I'm outside observing the magic of the stars.
The Zenderfull chalet
Chalet Zenderfull is located in the center of Quebec's Dark Sky Reserve and has 3 large bedrooms with 1 double bed, 2 double bunk beds, a double/single bunk bed and a double bed. There's also a large living room with 2 sofas and 2 wood-burning stoves, as well as a kitchen with access to a large terrace.
There are two bathrooms with shower and plenty of storage space. Our kitchen is fully equipped with a barbecue (propane supplied). We also have a forest plot with a small path to enjoy the beautiful countryside.
