Discovering the Cosmos in Mégantic

  • Zenderfull Chalet 4410 Chemin de la Montagne Val-Racine, QC, G0Y 1E1 Canada (carte)

Join us in this Weekend to discover the cosmos under a starry night!

We’re so excited to host you in Mégantic, our dark sky reserve and spend a weekend filled with information about astronomy and the stars. Get ready to dive with us into the cosmos and learn about it.

Caroline from Night Sky Adventures will be telling us many stories about the stars, how arabs, greek and indigenous people used astronomy in their culture. Caroline will also show us how we can navigate the sky, we will learn about the constellations and about the data we get from space. We will also have a trivia game about our learnings, it’s going to be a blast!!

Then I will help you take the best astrophotos with your phone or camera. I will also show you how light painting works and we will have fun creating together.

This event is held in both French and English.

What others Say

« “I have been to 2 events organized by Zenderfull. both experiences have been amazing. Communication and the information was excellent. My 10 year old boy came to one of the events, and had the time of his life. I recommend anyone to participate. Thank you Samer for your time and share of knowledge”  »

« What an amazingly unique experience! Samer is a wonderful guide who’s attentive and knowledgable. We went on an adventure to chase Comet ZTF in the bone-chilling cold. It was all worth it in the end to see the glowing green comet on our cameras and get some really cool photos of the night sky. If you’re doing a winter activity, remember to dress warm, bring extra layers and heating pads in case you need it. »
